On the 16th June, the Intermediate students interviewed a few protesters in front of the Cardiff Castle.
My students and Rachel's had to think about some questions to ask them and it was fab! The protesters were really friendly and talked to them for nearly an hour!
Well done, Intermediate! =D
Again, please feel free to comment on the photos!
This day we went to interview a group of people in front of the castle. They told us that they stayed there because they wanted a changed in the politic situation....like in Spain... the name of the movemet is REAL DEMOCRACY
ReplyDeleteI had never seen a protest from so close . It was a different situation. Of course, in all protests people agree with some things and they don't agree with others.
ReplyDeleteThis interview was really interestig for different aspects. We could speak with young people that want to change the political situation, and with that, their present and future; we also had a speaking and listening hour with English people. I think that this is a good way to improve our English.
ReplyDeleteDaniela: Let's go to the castle!
ReplyDeleteStudents: Yeah!!
Daniela: There's a protest! You have to interview this people.
Students: ... (silence)
It was an exciting exercise which we had never done before. In the end we sat there for one hour and asked and listened to them!
Karolin from Germany
